Welcome back to Bad Dads Film Review! Today, we're taking a closer look at the romantic adventure comedy, Six Days, Seven Nights. Released in 1998 and directed by Ivan Reitman, this film stars Harrison Ford and Anne Heche in a story that mixes elements of action, romance, and survival.
Six Days, Seven Nights sees Anne Heche as Robin Monroe, a New York City magazine editor, who ends up stranded on a deserted South Pacific island with Quinn Harris, played by Harrison Ford, a gruff cargo pilot. Their adventure begins unexpectedly when Robin hires Quinn to fly her to Tahiti, but a storm forces them to crash-land on a remote island.
Initially, Robin and Quinn are anything but fond of each other. However, as they navigate the challenges of survival in a remote jungle, their antagonistic relationship evolves. Amidst dodging pirates and the elements, their initial disdain transforms into a budding romance, providing plenty of comedic and tender moments.
At its core, Six Days, Seven Nights is about more than just physical survival; it’s also about personal growth and finding love in unexpected places. Both main characters discover traits and strengths they didn’t know they had, reflecting the movie's themes of resilience and adaptability.
If you’re in the mood for a film that doesn’t take itself too seriously but provides entertainment with a scenic backdrop, charming leads, and a satisfying mix of romance and adventure, Six Days, Seven Nights is a great pick. It encapsulates the late '90s era of romantic comedies with a twist of adventure, making it a light-hearted film to revisit.
So, buckle up and join us as we revisit this escapade in Six Days, Seven Nights, exploring how adversity can lead to unexpected companionship and how sometimes, getting lost means finding what you didn’t know you were looking for. 🎬🌴👨👧👦🍿

Six Days Seven Nights
Dan: been six days and seven nights
Pete: is that where the song came
Dan: Yeah, yeah, it was from this.
Sidey: that?
Pete: Sinead.
Sidey: Sinead that's right. She's dead, isn't she? she's dead.
Pete: six
Dan: No, she's just not here.
Pete: No, she is dead She's well dead
Dan: She's not that was just a big conspiracy theory
Pete: Oh, yeah, of course
Dan: And everybody
Pete: was sitting on this What I have got
Dan: is there anything else up your ass
Pete: That's what just came out with that.
Dan: them out Tell me we watched the the right version because there's two of this film.
Sidey: Is there?
Pete: there? Oh,
Dan: Yeah, that's it
Pete: I watched the 1998 version that included Harrison Ford amongst
Dan: because it's six days seven nights is the one that we watched
Sidey: the
Dan: harrison ford one And then it's seven days and six nights.
Sidey: It actually is.
Dan: break all
Pete: Is that the se, is that the sequel?
Dan: I
I, I, dunno. I've just seen
Pete: Who cares? It's romance
Dan: though, Pete. We know that much.
Pete: Yep.
Sidey: This is the start of Island
Pete: really. Ireland? Ireland!
Sidey: we say
Pete: for listeners, yeah, in Jersey, a Jersey accent would say Ireland. We come, we come from the island of Jersey,
Sidey: Yeah, A R L N D, I don't think there's even a vowel in there.
Pete: A-R-L-A-A-A-A-A-A-N-D, That's
Sidey: we went for the classic Six Days, Seven Nights, which I had never seen. It stars Anne Hesch and Harrison Ford.
Dan: Ford. That's all
Sidey: all I knew. And
Pete: Ross from friends.
Sidey: It is. It is Ross from Friends.
Dan: Ross from Friends. I knew it was a shipwreck. I had a poster that pretty much tells you that. It starts off,
Sidey: I knew it was a shipwreck, the movie poster pretty much tells you that. And it starts off, I think they're in Manhattan, are they?
Ross, or David
Pete: Manhattan, which in itself is an island.
Sidey: island as well, yeah. And he is some sort of financier type person, wears a shirt and a suit, looks like some sort of well to do Wall Street kind of guy. And hush. It's doing a kind of Devil Wears Prada thing with Alison Janey and she's the proto kind of Vogue editor and
Pete: what's the magazine called? I thought it's called Razzle for Razzle, which for,
Dan: reader's wives,
Pete: for guys that are about our age,
Dan: Yeah. Club.
Pete: means.
Sidey: era. Yeah. And he he being Ross David Schumer. That's not who it is. It's Frank. His name is Frank. He has arranged a trip of a lifetime with. Robin, that's an Anheuser's
Dan: an island off
Sidey: to an island. Yeah, it's it looks very
Dan: it looks
Pete: thing about this opening is that it's, there's not a lot of like build up to like getting straight to the
Sidey: wallet. Straight
Pete: Yeah, it's just, what's that first segment?
Five minutes
Sidey: They
Dan: to get straight in week a peak because they had a week You know, it's like if you're going all that way for just one
Pete: True. Yeah, yeah,
Dan: It was like we're gonna be here for one week and I was like that's just it takes me a week to get into
Sidey: But the Yanks, the Yanks get fuck all holidays though, don't they? They don't, they, they get
Dan: Loser trons, I mean why?
Sidey: they go in there, it's like a big sort of fancy resort, it probably cost a bomb, and he's arranged it with
Robin's boss asks Janie that that she's going to have this time off.
It's all a big surprise. You can see where this is going. Yeah, you can see the direction of traffic here. Pretty obvious. And whilst they're there, well, they, they, the charter, when they get there to the
Dan: here, it's pretty obvious. And whilst they're there,
Sidey: And that's Harrison Ford,
Dan: they, the
charter, when they get there, to the airport. And that's Harrison Ford. Turns up and she overhears that and goes, we're not going in this, are we?
And he goes, yeah, yeah, we're going in this, it'll be fine.
Sidey: know that you would have recognised the plane immediately, but Pete, do you know what kind of aircraft that was?
Dan: was?
Pete: A Cessna.
Sidey: No, it was a de Havilland Beaver.
You know your beavers normally. Harrison Ford is a licensed pilot and owns a de Havilland Beaver. And he did actually fly it in the movie.
Pete: Amazing. Yeah, that's great facts.
Sidey: He had to go
through several certifications for the insurance company to allow him not only to fly, but also to fly with the rest of the cast in the
Dan: cast in the plane. I don't think
Pete: Exactly right.
Sidey: I don't think that the crash was real though. I think that that was
Dan: Okay, well let's talk about that because it was it was quite
the crash but we're not there
Sidey: get, we do get a normal, like standard flight first. Yeah.
Dan: and they're both in their The life jackets which would give them no No safety whatsoever in in the plane that they were in.
And they get over to the island. You think it's gonna
Sidey: because there's a fourth party that joins the flight and it's a real,
Pete: Can I just say, okay I'm not normally good at sort of spotting a plot and where things are going to go.
And what I don't want to do is spoil this like incredibly complex storyline, but at the point at which
Sidey: get it from this moment?
Yeah,
Pete: the point at which Quinn's missus, who's kind of like a Latino, much younger,
Dan: Smoke bomb.
Sidey: But strumpet. Like,
Pete: an hash, if that's how you say is smoking as well, there's
Right, there's two smoking, two smoking girls.
Dan: David Schwimmer
Pete: So, Robin, who's Anhesh's character, and Quinn get left alone for like all of five seconds and straight away I'm like, Okay, these two are gonna fuck. And then when they get in and they get in the plane, the Latino girlfriend, whose name is Angelica,
Sidey: right in his face. She has to
Pete: over right in front of Ross, who's not called Ross, he's called Frank.
And straight away I'm like, right. He's gonna fuck her and she's gonna fuck him and this is gonna be all swapsies here And I'm not usually good at this
Sidey: is not a convocated Can
Pete: I got it. I got it
Dan: Don't jump in. We're not there yet, Pete.
And listeners
Pete: but that's what happens
Sidey: Angelica, Angelica comes on the scene, she is wearing quite a skimpy outfit, and her boobs are really up and thrust forward, and she has to get into the plane, and Ross, Frank,
Dan: It's
one of those really nice fabrics that just
Sidey: just seems
Pete: what you know is if they end up in the sea, she's got her own flotation devices.
Dan: And they don't fortunately in this one and the, the first night begins all romantically and they, they go to the bar, don't they? And, and she sees Harrison Ford at the bar and he comes over, completely pissed, forgets that he's even flown her over this day and then tries to hit on
her.
Sidey: that's the, that's the, we see the main reason for the trip, which we fucking telegraphed a mile ago uh, he proposes to her on the beach, and that's all lovely, but yeah, and then, and then, and then,
Dan: They're going for it. Yeah, she said
Sidey: then, and then, Yeah, then we, then we see Quim.
He's like plastered at the bar. We get a
Dan: No, not that plastered. We've been way worse than here before.
Sidey: of backstory that he had sold a business and had done quite well. And then he got divorced. I think something, something single on an island. And Alison Janey phones up from Vogue slash
Pete: Razzle. Razzle.
Sidey: and I think it's Razzler. Is it
Pete: Or Dazzler
Dan: Razzler, Dazzler,
Sidey: And she says, we've got a like short notice photo shoot at X place. You're relatively nearby. I need you to fucking get there and manage
Pete: Well, what they do is so that is they organize the shoots with Evander Holyfield and somebody else whose name I can't remember. But they say, but and and Robin is the only person who can. Do like deal with this. So what they decide to do is fly those two evander holyfield and the other person into tahiti.
I think it is which is where tahiti. Yeah, which is where the You know, she's just come from so it's not too
Dan: too much of a ballad,
Pete: but it's right in the middle Well the right, at the very beginning of a romantic holiday, she's just been
Dan: Exactly. We've, we've, she's just been proposed to. We've already said how little holiday the Americans get.
And even when they're on
Pete: get that time back.
Surely.
Dan: don't think she will, Pete. I think she's just
Sidey: she's just Okay, flip reverse it, you're away with your missus, you've just proposed to her, and then you say, Okay.
Actually, I just need to fuck off for a bit
Dan: Oh yeah I'll work. I will work it.
Sidey: going down very well. Anyway, for plot reasons, it has to work because she's going to have to get away. And she asks our friend Quinn, Harrison Ford's doing, he's sort of phoning in, although he's very good at it, his usual kind of gruff,
Dan: I just say, he's
Pete: Can
I just say, he's in fucking great nick, isn't he? I mean, he's in his
Sidey: He's 55 here.
Pete: Oh, is he 55?
listen.
Dan: keep, let's keep that, let's keep that in mind because it's really relevant later. And we've got Then him being convinced by money to take her over.
Sidey: And she's a decent looking,
Dan: And she's decent looking but it's the money. He doesn't want to do it for 500. He'll do it for 700 Away, they go The weather starts
Pete: in a storm
Dan: the weather starts closing in and he makes the call. Look i'm turning back. We ain't gonna make it
you're
not gonna believe this. Don't make it Pete. And he has to, he has to land, he has to land on a, on a desert island beach.
Sidey: They've lost radio,
Dan: They've lost radio with a lightning strike. Whatever could go wrong, did go wrong, but our hero is still managing to land the plane on the beach. Unfortunately, it hits a rock on the beach, one of the wheels, and so that's Goose. We get the plane spinning around and we wake up the next day with him on the beach.
Just kind of a bit gutted he's, he's seen the situation. It doesn't look good.
Sidey: He's got charts and maps and he's got a fairly good idea about where they possibly may be.
Pete: got a fairly good idea about
Sidey: and
he's he's trying. Yeah, he's trying to hold it together. She's a bit more panicky obviously and he's like don't about that flare because anyone we got is literally all we have so I think
Dan: that, that cue's
Sidey: What we do, we'll climb up to that thing that big map like You're a, you're a mountaineer. How would you describe it as? A hill? A
Pete: peak.
Sidey: yeah.
Dan: peak, yeah.
Sidey: We'll climb up there and that's probably the optimal place to see where we are and if we need to set the flare off. Yep.
Dan: And they go up there to find out, they're in the middle of fucking nowhere.
They're not on the island they thought
Sidey: they can
Dan: might be, but they can see another island, a another island. And and occasionally there, there may be boats and, and planes that, that go by. She manages to fuck up the flair.
Well by. Yeah,
Pete: that, that go
Dan: Yeah. Yeah. Ground. That's it.
Pete: she manages to fuck up the flare.
Dan: So they've lost their, their flare further, condemning them to another night and day. It's gonna be sort of like six nights, maybe even seven days by the time they'll get off this island.
But they make you know, they, they. They're trying to get off and they're exploring the island. So
they
Sidey: can see the other islands and they're going to use the life rafty dinghy thing to try and get to that one. Because they think there's a beacon or something that they'll be able to signal for help.
So they go, they're, they're rowing there.
Pete: no, they see a boat from the top of the
Sidey: that's right. Yeah. So they're going to row there. Yeah. And as they're rowing there, they've got binoculars. They look through and they see.
Dan: It's pirates.
Sidey: Yeah, an execution.
The guy was just gunned down. And did you see, did you clock who it was?
Yeah.
Pete: brilliant. What a collection of pirates. This is Tmereru Morrison.
Sidey: Yeah, which nicely links into Moana.
Pete: Indeed it does. Cliff Carter who's also in Once More Warriors with Tamiruru Morrison and everyone's favorite, like, former murderer or rapist or whatever he was, Danny Trejo.
Sidey: it's a
Dan: Yeah. It's, it is a great
Pete: collection of pirates.
Dan: collection of pirates who take chase to our heroes.
Sidey: They spot, yeah, they've,
Pete: got some heavy artillery on that boat. Yeah, true story, yeah.
Dan: know,
Sidey: So,
they're probably not going to help them in the way that they had envisaged. So they're going to have to hightail it out there whilst being chased. I think they've got a speed boat.
Pete: Yeah, it's like a, it's like a, yeah, I know what it is, it's, it's, Anyway, they've
Sidey: they got, they, they captured basically is the long and short of it.
Pete: after both Robin and Quinn put up a bit of a fight. Yeah.
Sidey: Yeah.
Dan: I
Pete: I mean, I think the pirates want, want these guys dead because they've just seen them execute someone on a boat and so on. So yeah, they, they capture them.
Dan: And at this stage, where I don't think, although he's been a bit flirty, you can see that Harrison is like,
Sidey: He's flagged off, he's flagged off her tits, I think, at one point.
Dan: Well, he does say, you're not my type, that's, I think
it's
Sidey: small boobs or
Dan: goes, you've, you know.
Pete: has done is there's a really horny scene where she goes in the water just for like a
Sidey: oh, with a snake,
Pete: a snake goes up her shorts and then there's this like scene where he has to put his hand like down
Dan: all professional,
Pete: her garments in order
Dan: and whip out this
Pete: and whip out this snake yeah it's quite yeah
Dan: Yeah. And that kind of breaks the barriers down a little bit and each, each time. So she's looking at him maybe slightly differently, but he certainly fancies her. He's already got a smoke and misses
Sidey: Well, we do get
a
flip though back to hang
on, Makatea is
Pete: is the
Sidey: And yeah, there's a search party and a kind of, ooh, where are they? Type thing going on because they know that the plane hasn't got to
Pete: anymore.
Yeah, and you know
Sidey: Yeah.
Dan: and you know what it's like when your missus is is gone and you're not sure if she's coming back.
I mean you
you survive his grief is taken over Frank
Sidey: he? For both of them
Dan: and for both of them. So as well as like we've got one couple held by pirates. We've got another couple. Holding each other,
Pete: held by grief,
Dan: by grief. Yeah. And It doesn't take too long before they escape and kiss and this lot within their grief have decided comfort is coming on.
He tries his very best to walk away a
Pete: I think he did better than I would have done.
Dan: He was a strong, strong
Pete: for 30, 40 seconds at
Dan: least and he said no once or
Pete: Yeah. his eyes
Dan: was moving forward as he
Pete: Yeah, because what she's doing is taking off all her
Dan: She is and she's got a thong on Peter
Pete: Thong's
Sidey: song. Quinn and Robin need to escape and they do that by jumping off a cliff, don't they? It's one of the highlights of.
Dan: That's it and they kind of are damn they've got away kind of thing and next thing you see them they've Kind of coming out.
It's almost a little bit of here to eternity where they're, you know coming out the sea and They obviously tired and they sort of fall into each other's arms a little bit
Sidey: Yeah, and they they have to sort of hide take refuge in the we call it rainforest I guess and they find the remains of an old
Pete: World War ii, like a
Dan: That's right. And he's, he's got an idea that he's going to take part of that plane, drag it through a jungle, roll it down some waterfalls, slide it along. And that is going to be then the the stable support.
Sidey: be in perfect working order to
Dan: perfect work. It
Pete: Well, it's, it's literally all they use is the, the skis of the, the old
Dan: Unfortunately,
she did have like five or six, cause she was only going for the day.
She only had five or six changes of clothes. But you see them regularly and she's got different pumps and shoes on depending on the terrain that she's going
Pete: she went into impressive
Ander,
Dan: did. She did.
she is.
Sidey: But they do, they do manage to salvage the equipment to get the plane into
Dan: Well, there's some brilliant conversations along here. So as there was, yeah, there is, I found it to be the most. pertinent and beautiful part of the film actually is they're wandering along and they're pulling these Kind of world war ii ski jump kind of things or whatever they've got. He's talking about how old he is And she's saying oh, you know You look like you're still in good nick to me and he's going oh everything's still working wink wink nudge nudge And he goes, oh, how do you think I am?
And that's a game you kind of play when you're with somebody for the first time and you're like well How do you think I am
Pete: they're going to lie and go 10 years under what they actually
Dan: Which he does she goes in at 45 and he gives it a little kind of pointing up and he goes she goes 46 No, keep going up 48. Keep going up 50 at which point He kind of whispers in her ear and she goes, whoa, you're looking good.
She is what? How old?
Sidey: Well, I could tell you what the real life age difference is. 27
Dan: She's 27
Sidey: 27 year difference between the two of them.
Pete: Yeah.
Dan: so it's it's right within our kind of
Pete: is about 27, because if he's 55, yeah.
Dan: So that's
That's and she is all over him.
Pete: back with a, he's, he's a bit Han Solo here because she said, like, she says, you're looking good and he's like, I am good or something like that.
Dan: Yeah. I'm still working baby. Yeah. I'm still going for it. It was 55 because we do see him with his shirt off a few
Pete: All the time.
Dan: and
Sidey: it's in great Nick.
Dan: he's he's at 55.
Pete: crush. Yeah. He's a, he's a handsome
Sidey: He really is,
Pete: yeah, he's a
Dan: geezer. Kind of gruff,
bleh
Sidey: kind of gruff thing going on. I
Pete: like forgive some of the like, strange acting, especially in this film.
Sidey: Yeah.
Pete: because he's so easy on the eye.
Sidey: Yeah.
Dan: Yeah. Again,
Sidey: Again, if you flip it around,
Dan: this is a, a love story.
Sidey: Yeah they, I think he has a thing for, maybe he's not the only person, younger women, because he was dating Calista Flockhart, wasn't he, Ally
Pete: He's
Sidey: Anyway, they use that to escape, and whilst they're in that plane, they're getting shot at by the pirates, and they comically shell their own
Pete: Yeah, he's taken a he's taken a
Sidey: wounded, yeah.
Pete: Some some flying shrapnel. And so he essentially can't
Dan: can't fly
Sidey: taught her
Pete: taught her enough,
Sidey: he hasn't
Dan: just taught
Pete: Yeah. and
Dan: enough, like, description how to fly a
Sidey: Their pirate ship, yeah.
But back on McAteer, they have
Dan: Jason McAteer.
Sidey: Yeah, they're gone. They're clearly dead. So they're going to have a memorial service on the beach. It's very emotional.
Dan: they're having as the plane comes round the corner. You
Sidey: you know it? The timing
Pete: And Ross, let's just call him Ross because he is Ross is, is having a massive sort of like guilty conscience crisis about the fact that he's nailed
like,
Sidey: MJ.
She's been
it much better. They've all, they've
Pete: and they've all, they've acknowledged,
Sidey: each other. neutral appreciation of each other, but To see himself not being typecast as Ross, but if you want to do that Don't play characters that are exactly like Ross
Pete: Yeah, I've never seen, I don't think, I can't remember him seeing him in anything other than Friends and this, although I'm sure he
Sidey: you watched the oj
Pete: No.
Sidey: it's really good.
He's, he's in that.
Dan: played, he played the
Sidey: played, he played, he played the Kardashian lawyer in that, I think. He's really
Dan: Absolutely is. This would have been that piece
Sidey: This absolutely is. And this would have been at peak sort of Friends time.
Dan: They're back on they're not
Sidey: they, they're now they're back. They're back on they're not dead.
Oh, this is intense. Well they crash. Yeah, they crash
Pete: on the water but manage to like crash near enough to the beach so that people can run in and help them.
Dan: and though he is lost a a lot of blood and he couldn't fly, he's still conscious and they drag him out and next thing we see him at the hospital where she's come to visit and they have that moment, look, is this going anywhere?
And he's like, look, I ain't gonna New York, you ain't coming to Jason McAtee. We might as well just fucking
Sidey: it a day. It says,
Pete: I like a simple life and it seems like it's going to be complicated because she's engaged.
So that
Dan: she's engaged. She's 27. He's 55. He's setting his ways. And she is a young
Sidey: Hold that thought though Dan.
Because what's going to happen is that Ross is going to confess. That he fucked. Angelica,
Houston. he
Dan: quite smitten with them, basically. Like I said, the wedding, the engagement ring is handed back. They
Sidey: with Macy. So, the wedding, the engagement ring is handed back. They go their separate ways. And this is
Pete: they don't
Sidey: the plot. Well,
Pete: go their separate ways because they both get on the plane and you see them going through the boarding gate. Yeah. But they're there. Yeah.
Sidey: And then this, you're a big Friends fan. This is exactly the plot of Ross and Rachel at the end of Friends when Rachel gets on the plane and then someone like in, in Friends is Ross is waiting for her. Did she get on the plane? Did she not? And this time Quinn has had a change of heart and goes to the airport and oh fuck,
Pete: this time, Quinn has had a change of heart, and goes to the airport, and oh fuck. But he's now, now he can just literally just run around on the runway as, as happens in a lot
Dan: Well, at one point he runs on the runway and he goes to ask somebody,
Sidey: I'd like to see him just get gunned down. He just goes ask one
Dan: He just goes ask one of the baggage Oh, where's that plane?
And instead of going, what the fuck are you doing on here? Like, you know He just points him over. Oh, it's over there, mate. Plane's just taken off. He's gutted. But next thing, he hears her voice. She's complaining about bags and luggage and everything. And again, he is just there while she's with all this bureaucracy.
He's there. He wanders over and he speaks a few words of French.
All
the guys oh, hey, yeah and just wander off leaving the bags there and them kissing
Pete: a big deal
Dan: He's a big deal. He's a big
Sidey: So that was just a complete One, I didn't really expect that to happen
Dan: No, I didn't see it. I thought it was I was over when they said at the hospital Look, this isn't
Sidey: that this isn't gonna, yeah. I was crest falling
Dan: And he
Sidey: says,
Dan: No, I want my life complicated as fuck or something along
those
Pete: we're You'd
Sidey: Yeah. We're big
Dan: like to think so at that
Pete: stage.
Sidey: Oh, they definitely did. I'd like to have watched you know that we are big fans of inanimate objects that appear in multiple different films.
This. I was in King Kong, like the 1976 version, and Anne Hesch wears the same dress that Elaine Hendricks wears in The Parent Trap, same year.
Dan: Jimmy's, Jimmy's
Sidey: Yeah, amazing, isn't it? Do you know much about Anne Hesch?
Pete: I read all about, I went down a massive rabbit hole, and in all
Dan: Tell me.
Pete: I found it more intriguing than the film.
Sidey: film, like, let's just get it out of the way, the film is
Dan: It's a
Pete: of the road,
Sidey: Five out of ten, it's
Pete: of Bruce Springsteen. It's absolutely middle of the road, appeals to like a certain type of like wishy washy mediocre audience.
Dan: I'm
Sidey: yourself down there.
Pete: I would say is like maybe at the time I might, and if I was younger, I might have kind of like enjoyed it a bit more, but it's, you've seen it a million
Sidey: there's films that are like, middle of the road, you can put them on and ignore them, and they're like But there's still better versions of that than this is
Like it's so mediocre. Yeah.
Dan: message is great. That any 50 plus year old man is still really possible to pick up a girl in
Pete: I've still got nine years to,
bag me a beauty.
Sidey: Hesh was being
In inverted commas, grooming to be like to the next sort of big thing or whatever, but then immediately after being cast as this, she was on the red carpet on the arm of Ellen DeGeneres.
And so the studio were like, Oh, well, we can't market her as a big, you know, sex symbol because she's lesbian and that doesn't work. So they basically fucking sacked her, which I'm sure in this day and age would be a massive discrimination lawsuit. But Harrison Ford's petitioned for them to not be cunts about it.
And got her eventually hired back.
Dan: it's like Pete says,
Sidey: But then she only, she only did then return to paradise after this and was never a, a leading lady again. And
Pete: Well, it's, it's not so much because she was bisexual, because she had male relat relationships with males as well. But I think more because she sounds like the female equivalent of Charlie Sheen. She fucking
Sidey: Death was pretty miserable.
Yeah
Pete: was crackers. Did you read
Dan: No, I didn't know she was
Pete: Yeah, she's dead. Died two years ago.
Sidey: three.
Pete: so she had three like car crashes in the same night,
Dan: Right.
Pete: So absolutely
off her face, although months and months later they came back with a coroner's report said that they found traces of like, fentanyl and cocaine and other prescription drugs and stuff like that, but said that they couldn't confirm because it's now months later that she was definitely under the influence
Dan: Well, it's like she might have just snogged us car crash one two and
Pete: Yeah. But yeah, so she did. There was like a hit. There was two hit and runs that she went from and the third one, she absolutely stacked it into someone's house, basically collapsed their house. The car exploded and caught on fire and she died of her injuries days later.
Sidey: Yeah, it's a sad story, yeah.
Dan: that is
Pete: But if you then read out, apparently she was like abused as a child.
Her dad was, you know, Her mum is like one of these like ministers that like campaigns, like it's like she converts people from gay to straight. Like she like prays the gay away, that kind of thing. So she's grown up in this like
Dan: have much
Pete: extreme environment.
Dan: And then, and then she's got a, you know, the one leading role she gets and she goes, yeah, this is your leading man. He's like, could be your dad.
Pete: I, do you know what? I thought it was a believable romance. I wasn't looking, it's not like Roger Moore in, in like,
Dan: yeah.
I think 55 to
Pete: View to a Kill, where he's like 60 and he's got an 18 year old girlfriend. It's not making me like, my flesh crawl.
Dan: 27 is, is where we're at.
Pete: well, but she looks older than 27 and he
looks, doesn't
Dan: looks 28, he looks 54, you're
Pete: Yeah, exactly.
So it's, no, it's, it's possible. It is viable. I
Dan: it's achievable, it's, it's inspirational.
Pete: was 27, I'd have done a 55 year old Harrison Ford. So put it that way.
Sidey: Yeah. I, I think we can all agree on that. Yeah. Strong, strong, mediocre, recommend
Pete: You seem like you liked it a lot more
Dan: Well, I loved the message. I loved what he was
Sidey: There's not enough there to love or hate. It's just
Pete: No, it's very
Sidey: so vanilla and
Pete: Yeah.
Dan: washy.
Watch, watch, watch this film if you are an older gentleman with a younger girl. Yeah. It's perfect.
Pete: or an older gentleman with a girl like the same age and then look at her afterwards in a threatening way and say, see, see what I could get.
So
Sidey: So.
Dan: Strong
recommend.
Pete: strong recommend.
